Gate hours and throughput
Set the hours the gates operate and their standard throughput. You can change these later for each entrance separately.

Gates and entrances
Add the entrances available during the event and set their real throughput and opening hours.

Queue forecast
Based on your settings we show the expected queue, waiting time and load on the entrances across each period of time.
The calculator fills in the “Arriving” column, and you can then adjust any hour by hand. 6,000 people spread across the forecast.
Longest queue: 288 people at 09:30.
The queue clears at 10:30.

Attendee traffic forecast
Compare the arrival of attendees with the throughput available at the entrances and spot the hours where a bottleneck could appear.

- Queue
- Throughput
- Max waiting time
The calculations run in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
The results are indicative and rest on assumptions about attendee arrivals and entrance throughput. Space needed assumes 0.5 m² per person standing in the queue. Real waiting times and queue lengths may differ depending on how the entrances are run, momentary surges in traffic and the behaviour of the crowd.
